PC Jayne Cleverley has been awarded a police long service medal following 20 years of service.

She said: “I am so proud to have worked for Sussex Police for 20 years.”

PCSO Demi Georghiou was awarded a Sussex ‘Services’ Award for saving a member of the public’s life by resuscitating him when he collapsed at a local church service, whilst Demi was off duty, earlier this year.

Rother district commander, Chief Inspector Warren Franklin, said: “Jayne and Demi display the utmost dedication, commitment and professionalism at all times and they are a huge asset to Sussex Police and the people of Rother. I am delighted that they have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to Sussex Police.”
