Ninfield supports Air Ambulance

MEMORIES of a summer's day when Ninfield was abuzz with fun and activity were revived at Powdermills Hotel, Battle, last Friday.

Members of Ninfield Carnival Association and their sponsors were there for the presentation of a cheque to the Sussex Air Ambulance Appeal.

Delaine Shearman, Sussex Air Ambulance appeal county fund-raiser, told the committee: "On behalf of the crew at SAA, I would like to thank the members of Ninfield Carnival Association, their generous sponsors and all the people of Ninfield who have helped to raise the amazing sum of 3,000.

"This money will help to keep the helicopter flying 365 days a year with a doctor and paramedic on board.

"Without your help and support this would not be possible.

"Thank you so much."
