Samuels, one of the fastest rising stars on the ladies wrestling scene, is one of four top female grapplers who will be in action in a big Saturday night tag match on the show on March 5 that will also include a fight to the finish and a men’s tag team bout.

Samuels, a devotee of the high-flying Lucha Britannia style, is set to team up with flame-haired Irish globetrotter Rhia O’Reilly, who has just returned to the UK after wrestling in the United States, when they tackle the international line-up of the giant Jamaican star Amazon and Dragonita, from Spain, who will also be making her first Peacehaven appearance.

The inclusion of Samuels on the Meridian show comes hot on two recent appearances for the WWE, but she and her partner will need all their skills if they are to topple their rivals, especially Amazon, the towering powerhouse who already made her mark in the Peacehaven ring when she defeated Erin Angel.

Local favourite Barry Cooper, who is the reigning PWF welterweight champion, goes head to head in the top of the bill bout when he clashes with the 2015 Wrestler of the Year, “Polish Eagle” Wolf Alexander, in a match made by public demand following Alexander’s fiercely disputed victory over the Brighton wrestler on the last show.

“Dazzling” Darrell Allen and Earl Black Jr. fight it out with masked man The Phantom and Damon Moser.

Tickets for the show, which is being sponsored by Aquarius Solutions in aid of the Mayor of Peacehaven’s charities, are available from the Information Office at the Meridian Centre, priced £10 for adults and £9 for concessions. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £36. Call 01273 585493.
