New rent schemelaunched

Residents in the area are being encouraged to attend the launch of new scheme to find out how they can rent council and housing association homes in the Arun district.

The information event called Homemove will be held in Bognor Regis Town Hall next Tuesday, October 2, between 10am and 2pm.

The choice-based lettings scheme, allows people looking for social rented housing to bid for properties they are interested in.

Staff will be on hand to launch the new scheme and talk people through how it affects them.

Details of the choice-based lettings scheme and the revised housing allocations policy linked to it can be found at www.arun.gov.uk under 'housing'.

Copies of the revised housing allocations policy can be requested from the housing department.
