Senlac Rotary Club press officer, Colin Goldsack, says Roger was the perfect candidate for the role. “He successfully organised the ever popular Senlac Rotary Classic Show and Craft Fayre for eight years raising some £100,000 in that time,” he said.
“He was also one of the six original members of the Yellow Men of Kadongdong; the Senlac Rotary supported project in North West Kenya.”
Born in Surrey, Roger was in the Royal Engineers prior to starting a career in sales. He moved to Sussex in 1985 and in 1990 started up his own business, Ark Supplies, supplying cleaning and hygiene products and catering disposables and packaging.

Apart from Rotary activities Roger has three classic cars of his own, enjoys travelling, gardening, eating out and spending as much time with his family as he can.
Roger says his philosophy for his one year term as President is to help disadvantaged and homeless young people achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations. “Being a Rotarian means I able to put something into society and help those less fortunate,” he said. “I look forward to my second term and to new challenges.”
