Man killed attrain crossing

A man was killed by a train passing through Yapton. The man, aged in his 20s, died after he was hit at the Lake Lane level crossing. The accident happened at about 10.11am last Thursday. He was struck by the 8.17am London Victoria to Southampton train and died at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious by the British Transport Police.
