Man injured after Rye forklift incident

A man was airlifted to hospital after an injury involving a forklift in Rye yesterday (Wednesday, October 12).

The man in his 30s was treated for back pain after being hurt by a forklift, or something falling off one, at around 9.40am, an ambulance service spokesman said.

He was fully conscious but was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for further treatment by air ambulance.
