Man falls down stairs during fire alarm
A MAN has suffered head injuries after trying to escape his flat during a fire alarm in South Terrace, Littlehampton on Tuesday.
Sussex Police were called to an injured man at 10.53pm.
It was initially thought that he may have been assaulted but it was established he had fallen down the stairs during a fire alarm going off in the block of flats.
He had suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
