Macmillan Coffee Morning events in the Observer area

Fundraising will be a piece of cake on Friday (September 28) as Macmillan Coffee Mornings take place across the Observer area.

Tea, coffee and cakes will be enjoyed at homes and businesses throughout the morning as part of the cancer charity’s biggest fundraising event.

In Chichester, Pallant House Gallery, in North Pallant, will hold a vintage coffee morning from 10am till noon. The coffee morning is inspired by the gallery’s current exhibition – Peter Blake Pop Music – and will include pop-art themed cakes and a raffle.

Staff at Trents, in South Street, Chichester, will add a twist to their coffee morning with topless waiters. Members from Core Results, professional lifestyle and personal trainers, will also be at the event, open from 8.30am to 11.30am.

Swanfield Park Community Centre, in Swanfield Drive, Chichester, will host a coffee morning from 10am.

In North Mundham, the coffee morning will be combined with an autumn fair at North Mundham Village Hall, in School Lane, North Mundham, from 10am.

In Bosham, a coffee morning will once again be hosted at Church Farm House, in Old Park Lane, with organisers hoping to add to their previous fundraising total of £14,750. The house will be open from 10am to 12.30pm.

In Tangmere, there will be a coffee morning at the Tangmere Village Centre, in Malcolm Road, from 10am to 1pm.

Staff at Barclays bank branches, in East Street, Chichester, and Nyetimber Lane, Bognor Regis, will also be joining in the fun with refreshments on sale. Barclays is one of Macmillan’s official partners, raising money for the charity since 2000.

In Bognor Regis, Vineyard Fairtrade, in Harfield Court, Bognor Regis High Street, will host a coffee morning from 9am.

Staff at Nationwide, in Bognor Regis High Street, and Rumbolts Hill, in Midhurst, will also be joining in the fundraising fun with their own coffee morning.

In Pagham, there will be a Coffee and Chat event at Pagham Village Hall, in Pagham Road, from noon.

In Aldwick, Zoe at Temple Spa and Pretty Please will host a coffee morning at 8 Contisbury Close, from 9.30am.

In Felpham, the Chocolate Box, in Felpham Road, will hold a coffee morning from 10am to noon.

Petworth’s Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held at Leconfield Hall, in Market Square, Petworth, from 9am.
