Join St Richards 50th anniversary

It's become one of the top 30 schools in the country but right now St Richard's Catholic College is looking back to the past.

On Saturday November 21, there will be a special celebration to mark St Richard's 50th anniversary.

At noon, there will be a celebratory mass with Bishop Kieran followed by refreshments and a tour of the school.

Current pupils are organising ideas in form groups to decide on items to go into a lead time capsule.

The capsule will remain sealed for the next fifty years. Additionally, a large clock has been put up outside the school building to commemorate the 50th anniversary.

The community of St. Richard's would like to welcome past pupils to join in the celebrations. Please ring the school on 01424-731070 if you plan to attend the celebrations on Saturday November 21.
