Hundreds to march against hospital cuts

HUNDREDS of local people are expected to express their anger at hospital cutbacks by marching through Uckfield on October 6.

Arrangements for the march are being co-ordinated by Wealden MP Charles Hendry.

He fears Uckfield patients will be hit by a double whammy if core services at the Princess Royal Hospital are slashed as well as medical beds closed at the town's community hospital.
