THE past comes alive in this glorious selection of archive images of Storrington chosen for us by Worthing Library, home to a huge collection of historic photographs of West Sussex.
Take the image of the hounds in The Rectory in Church Street, taken about 1905. The detail is superb, from the women in the doorways to the hatted girl hand on hip, from the hounds waiting for the off to the rather proud-looking huntsman ready to go.
