“Our area has many growing businesses which are looking for staff. However, for many who are unemployed, it often remains challenging to find the right opportunities.

“This is where the Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair can help.

“The fair will enable jobseekers to attend seminars providing employment and training advice, identify local vacancies which meet their talents and ambitions, and make contact with the businesses and employers who can offer a bright future in employment.”

Employers from various sectors, including retail, care, education, journalism, government and military, manufacturing, and hospitality and leisure, will be present.

In addition, the fair has recognised the growing demand for apprenticeships and this year’s will encourage a greater awareness of opportunities in the area.
