Fraud suspect is re-bailed again

A CATSFIELD man, who was arrested in connection with an alleged £900,000 fraud, has been re-bailed again.

The 52-year-old man, who has not been named, was arrested back in April, along with a 44-year-old woman from Selsey, West Sussex, after it was alleged that £900,000 had gone missing from a solicitors’ client account.

The man was further interviewed by police in connection with the enquiries on October 2.

He has been re-bailed until November 13.

The woman remains on police bail until November 22.

The arrests came as part of an ongoing investigation into CK Solicitors, in Selsey, which has since closed.

A police spokesperson said in April that the Sussex Police Major Fraud Unit was investigating events that led to the closure of the solicitors by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA).

The two company directors of CK Solicitors were Simon Kenny and Emma Coates.

Sussex Police say the investigation are continuing.
