The event, a collaboration between Arun District Council’s Well-being team and Inspire Leisure, opened at 10am. There was a range of activities to promote healthy active lifestyles, from Zumba, seated exercise classes and boxercise to massage taster sessions and walking football.

Paul Wotherspoon, Arun’s cabinet member for community services, attended the event and said the day was ‘fantastic’.

“It’s always good to see the community coming together, having fun while at the same time getting fit and healthy. Well done to Arun Well-being and Inspire Leisure for a fantastic event,” he said.
