Fire extinguisher theft
Two youths have been arrested for taking fire extinguishers from Dalmore Court on the Marina.
One of them has been cautioned and the other charged with theft - he will appear at Hastings Magistrates Court.
The pair were caught thanks to the immediate response of a member of the public who saw them throwing the fire extinguishers into the sea.
Inspector James Scott of Sussex Police commented: "This is down to the quick thinking and fast reaction of the person who phoned the police at that time."
