Fab! Zebra crossings are back in fashion again

A GROUP of councillors stepped out in Fab Four formation to mark the retrn of the zebra crossing to the county.

Finisters Way on the Beaumont Park estate in Littlehampton provided the setting when Cllr Peter Evans, chairman of the joint eastern Arun area committee , county councillor James Walsh,district councillor Graham Tyler and Littlehampton town councillor Emma Neno stopped traffic as they stepped into the road the same way the Beatles did in 1969 for their iconic Abbey Road album cover.

Clly Evans said: "This new zebra crossing should make a real contribution to road safety in the area. It will make life a lot easier and safer for pedestrians."
