Band and market

The Worthing Silver Band will provide a musical backdrop at the popular Tarring Market.

The market opens at 9.30am at Old Place in Glebe Road, today (Saturday, May 31).

A FAMILY fun day has been organised by people keen to say thank you to Worthing Hospital.

Dave Hunt, from Splash FM, and the group Reflections have organised the fun day for tomorrow (Sunday, June 1), at Worthing Lido.

The free event, which starts at 2.30pm, will include music from Reflections as well as other entertainment and special guests.

Book signing

A BEST selling author will be signing copies of her latest novel at a Worthing book shop.

Adele Parks, a "women's fiction" author who has sold more than a million copies of her books, will be at Methvens in South Street on Tuesday, June 3.

She will be signing copies of, and talking about, her latest novel Tell me Something.

Those who attend the event, from 7.30pm, will be able to sample treatments including hand massages and manicures thanks to businesses Synergie and Beautify.

Organ concert

TONY Stace will be playing the electronic organ at the Sussex Organ Society's next concert.

The concert takes place at the Queens Street Hall, Queens Street, Worthing, on Wednesday, June 4, from 7.30pm. Admission is 5.
