Hassocks road shut after ‘police incident’
A ‘police incident’ has closed a main road in Hassocks today (Saturday July 20)
The A273 London Road in Hassocks is shut in both directions between Stonepound Crossroads and the Shepherds Walk junction.
Reports are that the incident is near the recreation ground.
It is believed police were first called at around 10.30am this morning.
