College shows off its talents

MORE than £700 was raised for school funds at Seaford Head Community College talent shows.

The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association-organised performances on Friday and Saturday were a sell-out with pupils and adults taking to the stage to perform their party pieces.

Some 60 students from Year Seven to sixth formers took part. Acts included ballerina, stand-up comic, singers, dancers and bands, all aided by an energetic crew of backstage helpers.

Sarah Demoratti, from the PTFA, said: 'The entertainment reached a heady climax in the final when the PTFA members took to the stage dressed as ghouls, and gave a truly terrifying rendition of Michael Jackson's Thriller.'

The PTFA will consult teachers and student representatives to decide how to spend the cash.
