Car park rescue

Firefighters had to help a man and a woman get out of a North Bersted car park after the motorists were unable to move their vehicles.

The individuals found the barrier to the site at Newtown Social Club on Greencourt Drive was locked when they tried to leave just before midnight on Monday.

The fire crew could not get into the car park, so they instead helped the pair over a wall.
