Burwash village voice

Tomorrow morning there will be a special coffee morning in aid of Admiral nurses.

It is being held at the Pavilion in Burwash Common, from 10.30pm until 12 noon, by the After Eight club.

Donations of cakes, bric a brac and volunteers would be most welcome.

There will also be a tombola and a raffle.

Admiral nurses for Demntia is a worthy cause, they look forward to your support.

There will be another Tai Chi evening at the Pavilion in Burwash Common on Wednesday Evening. from 7pm.

You are all welcome to give it a try.

On Sunday 18 March, Tom Appleby will be taking part in the Pioneer Run organised by the Sunbeam Motorcyle club, riding his 1911 Humber from Tatternham corner, Epsom to Maderia Drive, Brighton, a total of 62 miles.

There are normally more than 350 riders from around the U.K. and Europe making it the biggest gathering of Veterans anywhere in the world and is a unique opportunity to see so many historic cycles and tricycles in action at one time.

The first machines leave Epsom at 8am arriving at Brighton at 1pm.

This year the club is encouraging riders to seek donations for The British Heart Foundation.
