British Heart Foundation Spring Fayre

SPRING was most definitely in the air around the region at the weekend as, along with glorious sunshine, there were a number of Spring Fayres to tempt local folk outdoors.

Little Common Community centre hosted the British Heart Foundation Bexhill Branch Spring Fayre and their varied stalls had much on offer. These included a popular home-made cake and preserve stall selling scrumptious delights including cheese & walnut bites, jam tarts, sponge and fruit cakes, lemon curd and jams '“ all thanks to the dedication and culinary skills of the BHF volunteers.

One long-serving BHF volunteer, Connie Taylor, who will be celebrating her ninetieth birthday later this month has been supporting the BHF for over twenty years.
