BREAKING NEWS: Six fire crews are fighting a blaze at Ford's recycling centre

SIX fire crews are fighting a blaze at Ford's materials recycling centre.

Two engines from Littlehampton were called to the facility at 12.37pm, but the blaze was such when they arrived that they called for more crews.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "The latest informative that came through at 12.55pm stated that the fire is in the single storey building 100m x 40m, involving the plastics recycling section."

Three hose reels and covering foam are in use.
