Bowled over by cricket gift

Howzat! St Mary's in Wrestwood Road has been given a bat signed by the England cricket team which played in the nPower test series this summer.

The Trust also has a set of cricket related goodies which includes a mini cricket bat from Middlesex CCC, a baseball cap and a polo shirt (size 3XL).

All three of these items are signed by members of the team - Andrew Strauss, Steven Finn and Eoin Morgan - all representing England in Australia for the Ashes series.

St Mary’s is now auctioning these as two lots to raise money through a sealed bid auction with the aim of promoting sport across the Trust.

The two items are available for viewing, please contact Sue on 01424 730740 to arrange an appointment.

Sealed Bids will be accepted up to 3pm on Thursday December 16. If you wish to make a bid, please ensure that you put your name, address, contact telephone number, the item you are bidding for and the amount of your bid in a sealed envelope marked for the attention of Sue Munn.
