Bognor trio perform first gig

Goodbye Hardrive play ther debut gig on Friday, April 25, when they support Elide at Newtown Social Club in North Bersted.

The band are keyboard and synthesizer player Nick Syrimis (16), bass player Charlie Mooney (15) and drummer Elliot Jones (14).

Charlie and Elliot live in Bognor, while Nick hails from Yapton and the trio all attend different schools.

They met at the Rox Music and Arts workshops which take place on Saturday mornings at Bognor Boys Club in Westloats Lane and they formed the band in January this year.

The band have been practising hard since then and hope to get as many gigs as possible in the near future. They plan to record an EP in late June.

Other youngsters who want to emulate Harddrive should go along to the Rox workshops for 11 to 18-year-olds.

Tutors, equipment such as guitars, keyboards and drums for 50p a session.
