Bexhill College students travel to Barcelona

By: John Dowling LEISURE, Travel and Tourism students from Bexhill College recently joined over 500 students from 23 UK schools and colleges at the Travel and Tourism Convention at Port Aventura, Barcelona.

During their stay they attended seminars on Spain's tourism industry. The students were also able to visit Nou Camp Stadium, Barcelona Football Club's state of the art stadium, City of Barcelona, famous for its art and architecture and the Port Aventura theme park.

A college spokesman said this week that convention organisers Study Experience had complimented Bexhill College group on their excellent behaviour.

"Staff and students really enjoyed the opportunity to visit such a beautiful city and all agreed that the visit would help the students achieve good results in their Travel and Tourism qualifications."
