Beulah Trip to Israel

They visited historic places of biblical importance and retraced the steps of Jesus Christ.

Church member Ronald Edwards said: "Our party consisted of 41, most of whom had never been to Israel before.

"We all found the experience very moving, particularly at certain sites such as the Garden Tomb where we celebrated holy communion.

"With so many biblical sites having been built upon, especially in Jerusalem, it was sometimes difficult to imagine the true scene in the time of Jesus, but it was memorable on other occasions realizing that we were walking where He walked.

"The Sea of Galilee was particularly moving; we crossed the Sea in a wooden replica boat of His time. All in all a truly wonderful and fulfilling tour."
