Adisa’s a poet and he knows it!

Adisa – who aims to inspire students to enjoy writing – paid a visit to Sandye Place Academy in Sandy on Thursday, February 14.

Adisa, who grew up in Luton, concentrates on what poetry can teach pupils in his workshops.

He likes to use poetry to increase young people’s understanding and awareness of the world around them.

The poet believes that by using poetry in everyday life children can improve their sense of self and contribute more to society.

Adisa has previously visited the academy to coach students from schools around Chronicle Country.
