Action group fights to stop park being turned into pool

Denton Gardens has been named as a potential site for a new pool to replace the outdated Aquarena.

Nikki Sheeran, of Warwick Road, who started the Denton Gardens Action Group with her husband, Mark, said: "We want to let people know how dangerous it is to let go of public spaces.

"We're worried that if this goes ahead no park or garden in Worthing will be safe - they could use this as a test case for the whole country."
