With last year’s re-enactment of The Greatest Show on Earth still ringing in our ears, the theme of this year’s out-of-this-world movie set is still top secret. Whispers suggest there will be a nod to a certain retro television genre…but you didn’t hear that from us! It’s not the only surprise that awaits you, either…
Show off your best vintage threads in the Revive & Thrive fashion hub. Whether you’re there to shop, celebrate with friends or soak up the joys of vintage living from the stellar line-up of famous faces appearing on the Revive & Thrive Stage, you’ll find inspiration aplenty. Strut your stuff on stage for the hotly contested accolade of ‘Best Dressed’ or make use of the many photo opportunities in this stylish spot, and become part of Revival’s style story. Get your dancing shoes busy at Earl's Raceway, where iconic live music from the 40s, 50s and 60s will have you cutting a rug.
Enjoy ‘all the fun of the fair’ Over the Road (quite literally) at Revival. The collection of vintage fairground rides and classic amusements are surrounded by an assortment of charming places to eat and drink, and even a drive-in cinema - you won’t stop smiling!
Championing heritage and endangered crafts, TV’s Dominic Chinea leads the Revive & Thrive Workshop on Hurricane Lawn. From gilding and loom weaving, to upcycling and traditional sign-writing, explore a variety of pursuits and discover a new hobby at the workbench.
Celebrating John Surtees’ iconic career
Not forgetting Goodwood Revival’s incredible motorsport action, for the first time in 13 years, the driver celebration will feature both cars and motorcycles to honour John Surtees' varied career as a driver and road racer. Surtees' strong connection with Goodwood began with his first ever car race (indeed the first car race he had ever attended, let alone competed in) at the Motor Circuit in March 1960, when he finished a close second to the great Jim Clark. He later curated the line-up of motorcycles for the first ever Festival of Speed in 1993, establishing his legacy as a Goodwood favourite.
All races to be run exclusively on sustainable fuels
The first ever historic motorsport event to run its races on sustainable fuels, Goodwood Revival will celebrate a landmark moment in preserving the future of historic racing for generations to come.
With a total of 13 races taking place, the event promises to be packed with more of the thrilling racing that guests know and love, with less impact on the environment.
