Slideshow: Kids at Climbing Bears show off sporting talent

Parents and staff enjoyed the annual sports day combined with celebrations for senior teacher Clare Steere, who will continue her career at Central Sussex College in Crawley.

Speaking of her 12 years of service, she said: “The event was wonderful.

“We always have a traditional sports day on the last day of term and it’s also a chance for parents to come and celebrate what the children have achieved.

“I will miss my outstanding staff team. They work incredibly hard and work well as a team and that’s incredibly important when you work with families, so I will miss them dearly.

“And I will miss the children loads!”

She added: “It’s been an absolute pleasure and I would like to thank all the parents who have been involved with the committee.”
