School celebrates '˜best ever' IB exam results

Over 25% of the cohort of 39 pupils gained 40 or more points (out of a possible 45) and just over 54% of the pupils gained 38 or more points, the equivalent of at least four A* at A level. Of special mention are Emma Toms who achieved 44 points and Benji Yokyong Zoega who achieved 43 points. Emma Toms will study Classics at Cambridge and Benji Yokyong Zoega has secured his place at York.

Head Master John Franklin said: “We are delighted with our International Baccalaureate results this year, which are the best the School has had since CH first introduced the programme in 2013 alongside A levels. The average point score was 36.6 out of 45. All of our IB students will be exceptionally well prepared for university following the rigorous demands of this course. We look forward now to the publication of the A Level and GCSE results in August.”
