“Whether it’s a financial reward for a prize-winning racehorse owner, or recognition to local businesses who work hard day in, day out.

“With so many local businesses around, it can be difficult to stand out. Therefore those companies that do, deserve to be recognised for it.

“We know what it’s like to be so caught up in the day-to-day graft, that it often feels impossible to stand back and look at what you have achieved as a business. This is our way of helping local companies to do that.”

As a major local business, Fontwell has invested quite heavily in its facilities over the past few years and offers meeting spaces to local businesses.

Its Premier Grandstand was completed in 2010 with conferences and meetings in mind.

It is capable of hosting up to 400 guests for business events, with free unlimited parking and free wifi.

It has also enjoyed its own award successes lately, with Fontwell recently named Small Racecourse of the Year in the South East by the Racegoers Club.

It has been described as the ‘right location to do business’, for event organisers requiring a venue with ‘character and versatility’.
