Sunday, October 4: Meet at 9.50am at Wakehurst Place, National Trust car park '“ Tillinghurst Farm '“Loder Valley Nature Reserve (entry limited to 50 persons per day) '“ Little Strudgate Farm '“ Newhouse Farm '“ Peacelands Wood. No dogs. Picnic lunch. 7 miles.

Tuesday, October 6: Meet at 10am in Millbrook East car park (one mile north of Nutley on east side of A22) '“ forest trails alongside A22 '“ Ashdown Park '“ Newbridge '“ Gills Lap '“ Old Lodge '“ forest trails to car park. Picnic lunch. 8 miles.

Saturday, October 3: Meet at 2pm at Glebe Surgery car park, Monastery Lane, Storrington. Circular walk through farmland '“ Kithurst Park '“ Cootham '“ Parham Glider Field. Two stiles. Free, just turn up. Dogs on a lead. 4 miles.

Sunday, October 4: Meet at 10am in Kithurst Hill car park. Circular walk into the heart of the South Downs '“ The Burgh, magnificent views of Arundel '“ returning along the South Downs Way. Free, just turn up. Well behaved dogs welcome. 4 miles.

Monday, October 5: New Walk. Meet at 10am at West Chiltington Village Hall (TQ 083179). Mostly flat (some stiles), circular walk around the village, may see a church or two and pass through nursery land, with some interesting views. Free, just turn up. 5 miles.

Thursday, October 8: Meet at 10am at Sports Pavilion, Jubilee Fields, Billingshurst. Various circular walks over farmland along the River Arun and Wey Canal. Free, just turn up. No dogs. 4 to 6 miles.
