Littlehampton Rugby Club are seeking new players of all abilities to join the club.

Littlehampton struggled for numbers on Saturday and had just 14 players for their 27-12 defeat at St Francis.

Ben Best’s converted try gave Littlehampton a 7-5 half-time lead but the hosts fought back in the second period to take a 27-7 lead. Littlehampton got the final try when vice-captain Gary Keirle played a brilliant pass to Lee Bailey, who went over in the corner.

The club have a fun environment and train every Wednesday from 6.30pm until 8pm at The Littlehampton Academy on the 3G pitch, with fixtures on a Saturday.

Club captain Craig Walters said: “We are a friendly club off the field, but a competitive one on the field.”

Anyone interested in joining the club can head to training on a Wednesday evening or find out more details about the club on Facebook.
