Superhero fun at Ewhurst Rectory
The Rectory garden and the churchyard in Ewhurst was invaded by Superheroes, who came in all sizes and dashing outfits to set themselves the challenge of the zip wire, to smash some crockery and then relax at the Teddy Bears Picnic.
Superman, the Rector, David Minns, accompanied by Scruffy the dog, took to the zip wire like a veteran, after his recent abseil down Guildford Cathedral.
Older Superheroes headed for the teas and burgers, browsed among the various stalls and had a ‘flutter’ on the tombola and raffle.
