Mewsbrook Park in Littlehampton has again been awarded a Green Flag, having been a holder of the prestigious award since 2005.

A flag ceremony was held on Friday, honouring the park as one of the best in the country.

The flag was raised by Arun District Council chairman Stephen Haymes.

Friends of Mewsbrook Park were proud to be part of the special day, after receiving high praise from the Green Flag judge.

Sue Fennell, secretary, said: “The weather was not in our favour but this proves the park is still a gem of Littlehampton, come rain or shine.”
