WORTHING United Football Club have just 60 tickets left for Sunday’s FA Vase match with East Preston, which will be on sale tomorrow morning.
The game is the first for Mavericks since the tragic deaths of players Matt Grimstone and Jacob Schilt in the Shoreham Airshow crash.
United were due to play the tie on Saturday but switched it to Sunday evening, with a 5pm kick-off, to allow the Sussex football family to attend and pay their respects to both men.
Just under 1,000 tickets were made available for the game and the remaining tickets will go on sale in the clubhouse at Worthing United’s ground tomorrow morning from 10.30am on a first come, first serve basis.
Tickets are priced £6 for adults and £3 for concessions. All proceeds will be used to fund a permanent tribute in honour of Matt and Jacob, in consultation with both families.
