Pippa Langridge, the AFC striker was totally unstoppable, proving to be a real menace throughout the whole 90 minutes. Langridge chalked up FOUR of the five goals. The fifth goal was scored by Chloe Ansell who delicately controlled a superb cross from Coco Cairns, on the half volley Ansell smashed the ball in from just inside the 18 yard box.

Lani Smith, the AFC keeper, made a crucial save on 60 minutes to deny the away team a potential 3-2. From the resulting save, however, AFC worked the ball through the channels for Langridge to score her fourth and realistically putting the game beyond the reach of Milford.

Charlotte Tudor and Beth McKellar worked tirelessly up and down the flanks for AFC giving the team a dynamic new look

The new look AFC did the club proud today with a stunning performance which was appreciated by the great support.

A great team effort today however Beth McKellar was awarded Player of the Match.
