ARUNDEL Cricket Club’s 2nd XI won by three wickets at home to Findon 3rd in West Sussex Invitation League Division 4 on Saturday.

Findon were all out for 197 in 45.3 overs as Rakesh Parmar took 4-26, Mark Barry claimed 3-34 and Charlie Horne grabbed 3-45.

Arundel got home in 39.5 overs as Horne struck 50, Carl Harris hit 36 and Barry fired 30.

Littlehampton’s 2nd XI eased to a seven-wicket victory at Scaynes Hill 2nd in Division 5.

Scaynes Hill were dismissed for 133 as Chris Perry claimed 6-38.

Rick Heberlein then hit 48 as Littlehampton reached their target in 30.4 overs.

Rustington’s 2nd XI went down by ten wickets at home to Brighton & Hove 4th in Division 7.

Simon Booth struck 53 not out as Rustington scored 114-6 from their 40 overs.

Brighton reached their target in 21.1 overs as Ian Parker hit 61 not out and Nikhil Patel struck an unbeaten 46.

Arundel’s 3rd XI lost by 141 runs at Broadwater 2nd in Division 8.

Robin Silverthorne struck 85 and James Sisley scored 84 as Broadwater scored 250-6 from their 40 overs as David Simon claimed 4-68, including a hat-trick.

Arundel were dismissed for 109 in 29.3 overs as Charlie Hawkes top-scored with 32.

Clymping’s 2nd XI conceded their match to Littlehampton’s 3rd XI in Division 9.
