Asa stars with double

MIDFIELDER Asa Nicholson starred for Wick Football Club on Saturday with his first two goals for the club in their 2-2 home draw with Shoreham.

Shoreham twice took the lead but both times Nicholson levelled with long-range stunners.

Owen Callaghan and substitute Gavin Jones had twice given Mussels the lead.

Shoreham nearly grabbed a late victory when Mark Burt's 35-yarder hit the bar, then Wick keeper Steve Phillips denied Darren Annis.
