TWO Worthing Homes initiatives have been shortlisted for national awards.
Its Relish Smartwire, a simple to use power-down switch for non-essential devices in the home, is up for Business Innovation of the Year at the Construction News Specialist Awards.
Meanwhile, The Community House, a Big Lottery Fund project in East Worthing, has been shortlisted for a Tenant Participation Advisory Service Award in the southern region final.
The house is a friendly, relaxed environment where people can meet up informally, take part in activities or drop in for help and advice when it is needed.
Both award ceremonies are being held in London in the new year.
The independent social business was named Social Housing Provider of the Year at this year’s Sustainable Housing Awards.
