AN URGENT appeal has been launched to trace a missing boy from Littlehampton who has not been seen for a week.

Mustafijur Rahman, 16, of Fontwell Close, was last seen at 5.30pm on Friday (March 13) when he left his home address.

Mustafijur had been out throughout the day, and returned home briefly before leaving again and has not been seen since.

He is described as Asian, 4ft 2ins, slim and with black, short, straight hair.

It is unclear what he was wearing last time he was seen but is believed to have been wearing a coat and dressed for the weather.

PC Alex Leeson of the West Sussex Missing Persons Team said: “We are becoming concerned for the welfare of Mustafijur.

“We would encourage anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact Sussex Police urgently.

“He does have connections in Brighton and we believe he could be in the city.

“Anyone who has seen or thinks they have seen Mustafijur is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1589 of 13/3.”
