TRAVEL: Delays on A27 after a crash between a car and lorry

DELAYS are being reported on the eastbound carriageway of the A27 after a crash between a lorry and car near the Shoreham this afternoon.

The incident took place at about 4pm, just east of the Shoreham fly-over, a spokesman for Sussex Police said.

He added that officers were in attendance and that eastbound lane was partially blocked.

No one has been seriously injured, although news is still filtering through at this time, so this could change, the spokesman added.

There is understood to be heavy traffic now building along the eastbound highway.
