It is one of the biggest events in the town calendar – so let’s make this year’s Armed Forces Day one to remember.
The town council, which organises the annual event, is calling for volunteers to take part in this year’s celebration.
If you are part of a local uniformed group or an individual fundraising for services charities, you can set up a pitch at the event’s charity fair.
Owners of military memorabilia or vehicles can also put them on display.
To get involved, fill in an online form on the town council’s website, littlehampton-tc.gov.uk, or ring 01903 732063 for more
information. The deadline for bookings is March 31.
Littlehampton Armed Forces day celebrates local members of the armed forces past and present and the contributions they have made to the country.
This year it will take place on June 24 between 10.30am and 4.30pm on the seafront green.
The event will begin with a seafront parade and a drumhead service on the green.
The rest of the day will be filled with action-packed arena displays, band performances, a charity fair, military vehicles, stunt display, memorabilia, a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast by the RAF and culminating in a spectacular aerobatic display.
