A DESIGN firm has beaten a host of competitors to design the branding for a new county-wide business support initiative.
Shoreham-based Yoohoo Creative has designed the branding for the Business Navigator Growth Hub scheme, a signposting service for funding and support for growing businesses.
Supported by Coast to Capital, it is being delivered by Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce and other chambers across Sussex.
Yoohoo managing director Clive Spring said: “As we work closely with Worthing and Adur Chamber to support local business, this pitch was something that we really wanted to get involved with.
“It is vital that small and medium-sized businesses are aware of the funding and support that is out there but finding the right solution is not easy.
“I believe this new support service offered by the three chambers will help to drive success for many companies in the southeast.”
Six companies were briefed to provide branding that reflected the role of the business navigators and the specific geographical areas they are charged with supporting.
Mr Spring said: “Creatively, we looked at the brief in a literal way. The business navigators are working with three chambers and cover three main geographical areas, so we felt that three main colours had to be used.
“The blue reflects the coastal region, the purple reflects the richness and diversity and the orange reflects the vibrancy among the business sector.
“These colours also represent the main colours of each chamber.”
Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce chief executive Tina Tilley said the team’s success was a coup for the area.
She said: “Clive and his team do a great job every time. They’re almost infallible.
“Yoohoo does all the chamber’s branding and you have to give them very little info for them to get what it’s all about. It’s intuitive.”
