IT could be third time lucky for plans to build a house in a gap in River Road, Littlehampton.
Two previous planning applications for the side garden of 18 River Road were turned down, mainly on the grounds of unsuitable design and size in the street’s conservation area, as well as overlooking neighbours.
Now fresh proposals have been put before Arun District Council, for a three-storey, two-bedroom house, with parking at ground level.
The application is in the latest list submitted to Arun in the Gazette area, which also includes:
ARUNDEL: installation of French doors with Juliet balcony (this application affects the character and appearance of the Arundel conservation area), 9A Tarrant Street.
EAST PRESTON: change of use from shops to B1 business class, including new shopfront (re-advertisement due to additional information), 113 Sea Road.
Demolition of side extension and construction of new single-storey side extension, 14 Normandy Lane.
LITTLEHAMPTON: two-storey side extension, 17 Compass Close.
RUSTINGTON: refurbishment and enlargement of chalet bungalow, to include raising of the roof to provide additional accommodation and new detached replacement garage, Quoyness, 15 Botany Close.
