Worthing food and drink festival returned for the fifth time this weekend for it’s ‘best event yet’.
Steyne Gardens was bustling with people choosing from the 40 traders who hosted stalls offering a wide variety of food.
Sharon Clarke, town centre manager, said: “The smells around Steyne Gardens were amazing all weekend.
“The great weather obviously helped.
“People were sitting out on the grass eating their food and the traders were really busy.”
Children enjoyed a show from entertainers Blast Science, who did a perfomance about the digestive system, while the adults enjoyed a wine tasting session.
On Sunday, celebrity chef Dean Edwards led two cooking demonstrations, encouraging the crowds to cook by showing how to create simple but delicious dishes.
Mrs Clarke said: “He was amazing. His mushroom gnocchi dish was absolutely stunning.”
The move to Steyne Gardens from its previous location at the seafront was popular among visitors, according to Mrs Clarke.
“The festival shows that Worthing is a great place for food and drink,” she said. “The feedback we got from people said it was the best one yet.”
