The pair – who both grew up in underprivileged backgrounds – will be at Wick Hall in Wick Street, Littlehampton, on Saturday, between 5pm and 7.30pm, when they aim to hand out up to 5,000 free presents.

Brad Hanson and Sam Hughes, known by over one million fans online as The Bald Builders, are doing it because they said the most important thing to them is family.

Straight out of their hub, renamed The Bald Pole this Christmas, will be The Bald Sleigh, a magical travelling spectacular lead by Santa and his elves.

The Bald Builders will transform the lorry into a travelling grotto, with music playing and snow falling.

The pair have joined forces with local businesses to put on the event.

LuvSweeties is one of those taking part, and said: “When we got approached by the Bald Builders regarding their Xmas event we just had to get involved. It’s all about giving back and supporting the local community who have supported us by shopping local.

“Also bringing the magic alive and putting a smile on these children’s faces with a bit of Christmas spirit which no doubt the bald builders will do exceptionally well.”

Christmas is a magical time for children and as this year has been very hard on everyone with the current situation we are supporting the bald Christmas grotto to help bring a little Christmas magic back in to the hearts and homes of the children and their families.

TS Paving added: “When The Bald Builders explained what they were planning to do for Christmas it was an instant no brainer that we wanted to be involved, 2020 has been a challenging year so it’s great to be able to help bring smiles to peoples faces.”

While ITS.CO.UK said: “It’s great to see how The Bald Builders like to give back to their community, they are full of fun and laughter but have a serious layer underneath that is utilising their following to help people, which is something we are proud to support them with.”

The duo said the Bald Grotto event will ensure social distancing guidelines are met so that guests can enjoy the experience safely.
